These are just my general thoughts on other Digimon ships and where they fall on the spectrum of ships I consider canon, ships I’m horny for but only like under specific circumstances, and ships I don’t like.

I am limiting this to the Adventure verse, so it doesn’t include any ships from other Digimon series, but you can find those and my other fandom ships on my main hub.

Daiken is the OTP of all OTPs. No matter what else I write, what else I get h0nry about, or how much I traumatize Ken, they will always end up together and be happy. They are endgame.

Taichi x Hikari

• Hikari's whole character development in 02 is about her becoming more independent, especially in regards to her relationship with Taichi, and, you know, being a lesbian with Miyako, but the incest vibes in Adventure and tri. are SO STRONG. Their relationship is so unhealthily codependent and the fodder is just 😳

Takeru x Yamato

• No matter when it's set, it's important that Yamato is so much of a bottom that even his little brother tops him. My preference is 02 age or older, mostly because I want Takeru to have a dick big enough he can utterly wreck Yamato. It's what Yamato wants and deserves.

Taichi x Takeru

• In episode 22 of Adventure, Takeru shoves his face in Taichi's crotch and says he wishes Taichi were his brother instead. Frankly, Takeru should just suck Taichi's dick here because he wants to convince Taichi he would be a such a good little brother and that Taichi should take care of him like an older brother is supposed to.

general thoughts & headcanons

Just a few thoughts on some of the other ships. These are more headcanons than actual ship preferences.

• Mimi shows Miyako how to kiss and how to get off. That's just a fact.
• Takeru and Hikari date in high school because everyone expects them to, but there's no real love there. Hikari is a lesbian (except for her brother lol), and Takeru is too busy being a slut to really be invested in the relationship. They break up after a boring few months together.
• Yamato and Sora date when Yamato is in denial that he's gay af. Obviously, it doesn't work.
• Taichi desperately wants to have a threesome with his boyfriend and best friend, but Yamato and Koushirou are way less into than him. I cannot imagine this not ending in disaster, but Taichi wants it so damn bad.
• Takeru and Iori are platonic soulmates. I literally cannot imagine Iori as anything other than aroace, so it's hard to picture him in any sort of romantic relationship.
